Can a subwoofer ever be too big? I got this from Staples for a great price, and I love it! The bass is amazing, which makes for an amazing listening experience. This sort of setup is great for video games, and brings all that violence and explosions to life. In my opinion, it is also very good quality for music, however I'm not as picky as most.

The bass is definitely better that the treble with this system, but the high ranges still sound great to me.

The only downside is that this subwoofer can disturb people downstairs! I had to put it on a foam block to prevent it from shaking the ceiling in our kitchen.

If you really want to test the bass on this system out, I recommend listing to the 1812 Overture :)
